Assistant Controller

?? Position Overview
The Assistant Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the Controller in managing the integrity of the general ledger, financial reporting, and audit coordination. This position will lead and develop accounting staff while ensuring accurate and timely financial processes.
? Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage monthly close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff across AP, AR, and related functions
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and drive resolution of discrepancies
- Coordinate and support annual audits with external auditors
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and company policies
?? Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of corporate accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing month-end close and general ledger activities
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
